Concept & Story:
Sahara One has been airing Woh Rehne Waali Mehlo Ki for two years. The central character was Rani (Reena Kapoor) who belongs to a rich family but gets married into a poor family and learns to adapt to lower middle class living. After her husband Raj Goyal passes away, her family gets her married to her husband’s lookalike Prince Thapar(Arjun Punj).
The second year of Woh Rehne Waali Mehlo Ki saw Pari Thapar, Rani’s lookalike daughter as the central character. It focused on Pari’s life, her life in college, her love and marriage to her soulmate Saumya Parashar.
